One Tap Duels

One Tap Duels is a 2D action game where it normally takes just one tap of the screen to kill your opponent. Your character begins each duel on the left side of the screen, while your opponent begins on the right, and the first one to land a punch wins.

When the duel begins, both characters run toward each other, so you have to touch the attack button at the exact right moment. If you tap too late, your enemy wins. But if you tap it too soon, you won't hit your enemy and you'll lose.

All the characters in the game have the same attack button, but they don't all have the same special ability. The ninja, for example, which is the first character you have access to, lets you disappear quickly to try to avoid your enemy. The spartan, on the other hand, lets you block an attack using a shield.

One Tap Duels is a splendid minimalist action game. The gameplay is as simple as it is fun, and the pixelated graphics are great. The only thing lacking is more of a variety of characters, but that's sure to be resolved as more are added in future updates.
